Stomp Comp

Stomp Comp is inspired by a guitar compression/limiter pedal, offering two distinct versions in one pack. This comp is a great drum room smasher!

Version 1 (free)

Is free and can be downloaded here

This version replicates the original pedal and its features:

• Sustain: Acts as an input-based drive over the threshold control. Turning it clockwise increases the level of compression.
• Attack: Controls the attack time of the envelope.
• Gain: Adjusts the output gain.

Version 2 (ALT) (PAID VERSION)
To enhance usability, Version 2 introduces additional features:

• Range Control: Works as a threshold on the opposite side of the transfer function, allowing you to define where in the signal the compression occurs. This lets you preserve certain transients if needed. With the Range control set fully clockwise, you get standard compression. For a visual guide, watch the video below.
• Additionally, the HPF inserts a high-pass filter into the sidechain.
• Paid for version includes a line colouration instance in 4 sample rates:
