What does Shape Modifier do and not do to a signal and why is it unique for nebula.

Lets look at the transfer of when Attack is placed to fully positive. As we can see nothing happens, No change in signal is taking place. A simple expander or compressor would show its transfer in this test.

However If we look at a test of attack and release (using the same settings) in the next example we can see the expansion gets turned ON for the abrupt change in signal, this in fact shows processing will only occur on a transient. The bigger the transient the bigger change in processing.

This is the same for all settings give or take it being compression of expansion, negative and positive processing.
